What $500K Gets You in Chandler vs Gilbert vs Queen Creek
One of the most common questions I get is, “Where should I be looking if my budget is around $500,000?”
And the answer is… it depends on what matters most to you.
In Chandler, $500K will typically get you something a little more established. Think mature neighborhoods, great locations, and closer proximity to work, restaurants, and everything in town.
In Gilbert, you’re often getting a nice balance. Strong community feel, good schools, and a mix of newer and older homes.
In Queen Creek or San Tan Valley, that same budget stretches further. More space, newer builds, and often builder incentives.
There’s no “right” answer. It really comes down to lifestyle.
If you want a bigger picture of how this fits into the overall market, I break it all down in my full guide to buying a home in the East Valley.
If you want to see how different price points actually play out across the East Valley, I break it down in more detail here.
If you’re starting to look and want to talk through what this could look like for you, I’m always happy to walk you through it.
